My last project for my Arkansas History class was to go on a field trip. I went to Pea Ridge National Military Park, which is about 30 minutes away. The entire battlefield has been preserved. There is a 7 mile loop you can drive with stops along the way to educated you on the Battle of Pea Ridge. Along the drive, this was my favorite stop. You can see from the pictures the enormous size of the battlefield. I have learned a lot about Arkansas History. I took my final today...so I am finally finished with the class!! If anyone would like to borrow my history book for some educational reading, let me know!
