It's official!

It's official, I will be going back to work in the fall! I will be teaching Pre-k in the Rogers Public Schools. I will also be the Heritage High School Swim Coach. Bill and the kids sent me a beautiful plant arrangement to tell me how proud they are. I hope they feel that way when swimming season starts in mid-October!

Swimming

Today, I took Will and Avery swimming. They had the entire pool to themselves. The big kids will be out of school next week.
They swam under the mushroom!
The pool water was a little chilly, but they got use to it!
They had a little "lunch date" together!

Build-A-Bear

The kids went to Build-A-Bear this afternoon. Amanda had a gift card from Uncle Mark from Christmas and Will had one from Amanda for his birthday. They also let mommy and daddy sleep in until 9:30 today! So, we wanted to make sure we thanked them!
Here, they are preparing hearts to go into their animals.

Roller Skating Party!

Amanda had a roller skating party to go to this weekend. She wore roller blades for the first time. She did a great job!
Will found a replacement since Avery wasn't at the party. JoJo was his skating partner! Watch out Avery!!

Fun in the sun!

This past weekend, Lorie and Brian bought a big inflatable water slide. The kids had a ball playing!
Will and Avery were enjoying the water together.
Will and Amanda enjoyed climbing up and then sliding down.

Amanda's new look!

We discovered that all of Amanda's hair will fit up in a tight ponytail. She was so excited, she was beaming! She looks so grown-up with her hair pulled back! Hard to believe she is going to be 7 in less than two months.

Arkansas History

My last project for my Arkansas History class was to go on a field trip. I went to Pea Ridge National Military Park, which is about 30 minutes away. The entire battlefield has been preserved. There is a 7 mile loop you can drive with stops along the way to educated you on the Battle of Pea Ridge. Along the drive, this was my favorite stop. You can see from the pictures the enormous size of the battlefield. I have learned a lot about Arkansas History. I took my final today...so I am finally finished with the class!! If anyone would like to borrow my history book for some educational reading, let me know!

Avery and Will

Avery is the girl Will says he is going to marry when he turns 4! He said she can live with us and sleep in Amanda's room. They love to play dress-up. Thankfully, Will has boy dress-up clothes.

Updated Herb Garden!

Here is our herb garden: cilantro, dill, parsley and basil (store bought!) Mint did not make it. The plants are inside since it is suppose to rain all day! Notice the pretty new pots!!
