Naturals Baseball Game

Today, I took Will, Amanda and Megan to the Naturals Baseball game (thanks Emilie!) The kids had a great time. They really weren't interested in the game. They loved the slip and slide! They got all wet :) We tracked down "Strike" for a picture.

WE DID IT!!!!!!

We finished our 1000 piece E.T. puzzle. It only took two weeks. Not sure what our next one will be :) Amanda is very excited!

Performers!

Amanda, Will and Alexis (not pictured) dressed up and put on a performance for the grown-ups. It was very cute. Amanda did her own hair!! Alexis was gone over the weekend, Will and Amanda were excited to see her!

Another E.T. Puzzle update

We are getting closer to finishing the puzzle. We hope to finish it in a couple of days!!

We all went golfing with Bill on Father's Day morning. Will wanted to eat snacks in the cart the entire time. Amanda enjoyed hitting the ball farther than mommy!!

E.T. Puzzle Update!

Well, we finally got all the outside pieces together. Now we are slowly getting animals together. Hopefully, we will have the puzzle finished by the end of summer!! I will keep you posted!

Pretzel Making Round #2

We made pretzels again. This time we added wheat flour. We also tried some with brown sugar and cinnamon, and some with everything! Alexis and Lorie helped this time. They turned out really yummy, as you can see in the pictures that a few bites had already been taken!

Second Grade, here she comes!

Mrs. Lisowski was such a wonderful teacher! Amanda loved going to school everyday to see her. She only lives a short bike ride away, so we can go see her anytime we want!
Here comes Amanda as a 2nd grader! She is leaving 1st grade behind!
She told me that the day wasn't over, so she wasn't a 2nd grader just yet!
I always take her picture the first day of school and the last day. I will have to find the first day of 1st grade and compare the difference.
Amanda has watched E.T. four times already, and loves it. I told her that once school was out, we would start the puzzle. Guess what, we started tonight. It might take us all summer to finish it. I will keep you posted on our progress!

Oscar Mayer Wiener!

We went out to dinner after Ella's party. We came across the new and improved Oscar Mayer Wiener hot dog car! We had to stop to get a picture!

Ella had her birthday party at the bowling alley. We had so much fun! Thanks for inviting us!

Will was up most of the night because of the storms and of course he was the last to wake up in the morning. We all had a great time, but we were excited to get back into our own beds!

We want to try camping again, but without the thunderstorms at night! We all had a great time with our extended family!
